US Corn Crop Likely to Fail to Meet Global Demand

"US forecasters predict that the nation's crop will fall short of demand by 246 million bushells in the next year. That will shrink inventories used to help prevent shortages.

Also worrisome this year is the vast difference in the quality of corn growing in key corn-producing states."
