Clear Atmospheric Conditions EXCEPT for Visible EMISSIONS from Fukushima Daiichi's Melted Reactors

Very clear atmopsheric conditions at Futaba cam intersection 4/19 1:20:11 AM:

TEPCO cam 1 4/19 1:20:33 Visible Emissions from units 1-3

No fog, no clouds, no visible atmospheric disturbances beyond Fukushima Daiichi's belching steam emissions.

It is amazing how holocausts can be denied.

Fukushima is producing an environmental holocaust for the most impacted forms of life. I have no idea how broad the scope of its effects will range, but I've been disheartened by several trends:

1. Ongoing collapse of North American Pacific coast mammals and other sea life. Collapse was underway before Fuksuhima, but unprecedented ocean contamination seems to have created a tipping point. Enenews has been doing a great job posting stories but we need compilations with full citations. I started this project but did not complete it (Enenews sources will need to be cited directly):

 2. Evidence of ongoing nuclear events at the Daiichi site, causing visible atmospheric emissions and spiking radiation levels in municipal and global (e.g., EPA) monitoring data (you can see my posts from the last couple of months and you can see older evidence at the link above on animal anomalies)

3. Evidence of ongoing ocean contamination as TEPCO dumps tritiated water, which cannot be filtered, and as uncontained nuclear fuel continues to contaminate fresh water saturating the site and leaking into Pacific Ocean:
Summary of conditions: http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/fukushima-anniversary-interview.html

Dumping of water: http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/dumping-of-highly-contaminated-water-at.html

Groundwater contamination rising: http://majiasblog.blogspot.com/2015/03/ground-water-contamination-rising-at.html

4.  Anecdotal evidence that huge amounts of Fukushima related information is being scrubbed from the Internet. This claim is based on my anecdotal experience and the experience of others searching for previously referenced Fukushima documents online.

These are not positive trends.

On the other hand, I continue to see wildlife where I live in Arizona, although the insect population is greatly reduced and bird populations seem down as well.

Life's resilience gives me hope, but the stark DENIAL by governmental authorities of the irreparable problems our pollutants are creating suggests we will squander the time we have left.

  1. So here's what I've been wondering for a while. How many Beqs of what kind of isotopes exist for potential meltdown in all of the spent fuel pools in the 400 or so nuclear plants globally, versus all the remaining warheads? Hyped political theater about Iran's nukes pales beside the imminent threat of our spent fuel pools and their potential global devastation if the lights go out.

    1. Agreed

We are in serious trouble if the lights go out

  2. Meantime the situation in the Ukraine is not good for their nuclear reactors. The Russians have already noted the possibility of another Chernobyl. The considerable Nazi element might actually bring one on to get back at Russia and the EU. On the bright side apparently Russia has developed nuclear power plants that continuously reuse the fuel.

    1. I'm still not convinced that something didn't happen with one of their reactors back in late November, early December (2014).
