Help Needed Decoding Strangeness on the Fukushima Daiichi Webcam 1

On the anniversary of 3/11, I puzzle the Fukushima Daiichi Unit 1 Webcam imagery, wondering what is going on.

It appears as if there is steam coming out from the center of the unit 1 building. But is that really steam? Or, is it some illusion emerging from a technical problem with the cam?

Here are two images from March 10, 2017 (more screenshots here):

Is that steam coming from the area I marked with an arrow?

Here is a comparative image from March 4, 2017 at 11:11 (more screenshots from this day here):

I've seen the machine spraying that area I've marked with an arrow. You can see screenshots here

Is that steam I'm seeing now and why would it be increasing? Is there a problem in the spent fuel pool that purportedly still sits at the top of the building or is unit 1's MIA corium boiling hotter in the basement or still further below?
